Tangem Opens Withdrawals from Pay to Verified US Banks
By Roll · Chief of Staff · 19 Oct 2026
Tangem said on Oct. 13, 2026 that USDC held in Tangem Pay can now be paid out as US dollars to a US bank account. The feature supports USDC on Polygon, Base and Arbitrum.
Tangem has activated bank payouts for USDC held inside Tangem Pay.
The service went live on Oct. 13, 2026. Holders can now move funds from the payment account directly to a United States bank account, with the amount arriving in dollars.
What the feature delivers
A holder opens the app and selects Withdraw. They choose bank transfer, enter the amount and recipient details, then review the order. Confirmation requires one tap on the Tangem hardware card. Each payout can be sent to the user’s own account, another person’s account, or a business account.
Available rails and networks
Users select ACH or FedWire for the transfer. The option works with USDC on Polygon, Base and Arbitrum. The receiving bank must be located in the United States. The recipient’s address can be anywhere.
Account verification and availability
The payout choice appears only in accounts verified in countries where the feature is offered. Tangem Pay sits as a separate payment account inside the same app that holds the non-custodial Tangem Wallet. Holders can also move USDC or USDT from Pay back to the wallet if they prefer to keep funds on-chain.
Steps in the app
The help center outlines a short sequence. Open Withdraw, pick bank transfer, supply the amount and recipient information, review, then confirm with the card tap. No other steps are required inside the flow.
Tangem Pay functions as the payment layer attached to the wallet. The wallet itself remains non-custodial while the Pay account handles the bank connection. Availability is tied to the verification country of the Pay account rather than the recipient location.
The announcement came directly from a Tangem post on X dated Oct. 13, 2026. The help center page on funding and withdrawals supplies the operational details for recipients and networks. The Tangem Pay product page describes the separation between the wallet and the payment account.
Holders who meet the regional requirement now have a direct path from USDC in Pay to a US bank account without additional intermediaries shown in the documented steps.
