Safe Labs said on Oct. 6, 2026 that Safe Pro is live, giving teams one Workspace to run their Safe multisig accounts while they keep control of the keys. NFA.

Core Workspace Setup

Safe Pro places a team’s Safe accounts inside a single shared view. The workspace displays balances, pending transactions, and recent activity for every connected account. Teams gain a shared address book and an activity log that records actions across those accounts. These elements sit on top of the existing Safe structure without requiring any change to how keys are stored or used.

Role and Authority Controls

Teams can assign proposer roles inside the workspace. A proposer prepares transactions for signers to review but holds no authority to sign or execute. This separation keeps signing rights with the original holders while letting other team members handle preparation work. Adding an account to the workspace does not alter its signers or threshold requirements, so existing security settings remain intact.

Spending Boundaries

Teams can create bounded spending authority for a chosen address and token. The open-source Allowance Module enforces these limits directly onchain. The setup gives operational flexibility without expanding who can move funds. Signers retain final control because the module only permits transactions that stay inside the defined bounds.

Security Monitoring Layer

A Workspace Security Hub collects supported security signals from the team’s accounts. The view brings monitoring information into one place so teams can review signals without switching between separate account dashboards. The hub focuses on visibility rather than automatic action, leaving decisions with the designated signers.

Access and Custody Rules

Accounts added to Safe Pro stay reachable through the Safe Wallet app. Signing rights do not require a Safe Pro subscription, and the workspace itself does not hold keys or assets. Safe Labs stated that the product adds coordination features only. Teams continue to manage custody exactly as they did before the workspace was created.

Policy Integration

Safe on X noted that Safe Pro brings account management, security monitoring, and transaction policies together inside the workspace. The combination lets teams handle these functions from one location while the underlying Safe accounts continue to operate under their original rules. The approach keeps the security model unchanged and places new tools on top of that foundation.

Practical Outcome for Teams

Safe Pro organizes existing Safe accounts into a coordinated view. Proposers prepare work, shared tools reduce duplication, and security signals appear in one hub. Signers keep their original authority, and accounts remain available in the standard Safe Wallet app. The Oct. 6, 2026 launch delivered these features as described in the Safe Labs blog post and the accompanying posts on X.
