OISY Delivers XRP Ledger Support In Browser Wallet

OISY wallet now supports native XRP for every account on its platform. Holders can manage the asset directly inside the browser tool that runs on the Internet Computer.

The service announced the update on Oct. 5, 2026. Users gained the ability to hold, send and swap the asset on the XRP Ledger network without leaving the browser interface.
What Holders Receive
Account holders store XRP addresses in the contacts list. The send screen displays recently used addresses and blocks a new transaction until any pending send clears. Older transactions appear as the user scrolls down the history view. Each XRP asset carries its own token details page.
OISY issues a warning if a destination tag is missing during a send. The same release notes state that custom tokens on the XRP Ledger remain unsupported at this stage.
Network and Security Details
The wallet runs entirely in the browser on the Internet Computer. It already connects to Bitcoin, Solana and Ethereum in addition to the newly added XRP Ledger. Keys stay split across a network so that no single party, including OISY itself, holds a complete key at any time.
The code base is open source, which allows anyone to review the implementation. These elements combine to give holders a self-custodial path for native XRP activity.
Daily Use Flow
A holder opens the wallet, selects an XRP address from contacts and initiates a send. The interface shows prior addresses to reduce manual entry. The system prevents overlapping sends until the first one finishes. Transaction history loads more entries on scroll, and the dedicated token view supplies balance and detail information.
The Oct. 5, 2026 update delivered these functions to all existing accounts at once. No separate activation step is required.
Current Limits
Custom XRP Ledger tokens stay outside the current feature set. Users who need those assets must continue using other tools until support arrives.
The wallet stays focused on core hold, send and swap actions for the native asset. This scope keeps the experience straightforward for daily ledger interactions.
